Design and implementation of a new mobile platform

With a network of 450 charity shops and a national support system, Age UK has a high number of remote and field-based workers. This means smartphones are the main channel through which Age UK’s teams communicate and carry out work remotely.

Maintel conducted an internal audit of business requirements and worked with Age UK to pinpoint the features and functionality required. These included mapping software, large screens, video call functionality and compatibility with Microsoft Office.

As a result of the work Maintel carried out on the smartphone migration, Age UK made savings of 70% per year.
