Environmental Management Policy

Maintel is committed to providing a quality service in a manner that ensures a safe and healthy workplace for our employees, whilst minimising our potential impact on the environment. 

 We ask our employees to take into account the effect their activities have on the environment at all times.

Legal

As a minimum, meet statutory requirements of environmental regulations and standards to which we subscribe.

Recycle and Reuse

Reduce waste through re-use and recycling and by purchasing recycled, recyclable or re-furbished products and materials where these alternatives are available, economical and suitable. 

Waste Management

We will endeavour to minimise waste product by promoting the efficient use of materials and resources throughout our facilities, wherever possible and make sure waste materials are disposed of in an environmentally safe manner and in accordance with regulations.

Suppliers

Work in partnership with suppliers and customers to ensure best practise is integrated into our supply chain decision making and activities. 

Energy 

Maintel will endeavour to manage all energy supplies and water supplies to obtain optimum consumption through management initiatives.

We will also endeavour to cut vehicle emissions by using eco-friendly transport, public transport and encouraging the use of video conferencing or suitable alternative communication methods. 

Company Awareness

Promote environmental awareness among our employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner by training, educating and informing our employees about environmental issues that may affect their work.

Maintel operate in compliance with ISO14001:2015 and all relevant environmental legislation and strive to use pollution prevention and environmental best practices in all we do.

This policy is regularly reviewed for continued suitability as part of the Management Review process.
