JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator
DEPARTMENT:  Professional Services
FUNCTION:  Operations
LOCATION: Aldridge

Job Purpose Statement:

Overseas projects. Keeps up to date on all aspects of a project, assigns duties, and assists others so even complicated tasks come to completion in an orderly and timely manner. Uses expertise to solve unexpected problems. Communicates with upper management. Ensure that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves and to help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for achieving KPI ‘s
  • Invoicing and Forecasting all Projects
  • Working to Revenue targets
  • Resourcing Engineers
  • Accountable for managing project to cost estimate (with Project Manager where allocated)
  • Accountable for managing through Focalpoint (Internal system) ,“Go Live Date”,  project completion and invoice schedule (with Project Manager where allocated)
  • Voluntarily assisting in continuous improvement of the Maintel project management process

Key Challenges: 

  • Multitasking ability and organisational skills are key to this role
  • Maximise invoicing potential
  • Manage and co-ordinate engineers time and materials with an aim to increasing margins
  • Maintaining accurate status, highlight and other relevant project reports

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Skills and Aptitudes

  • Excellent customer skills and focus
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills and ability to effectively coordinate customer projects
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • IT skills and experience, MS Office, MS Project preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and with time constraints
  • Excellent detail and accuracy required

Job knowledge

  • Basic understanding of telecoms and Maintel products and services
  • Ability to produce reports and information from database package
  • Project Management qualifications preferred

Experience

  • Experience dealing and working with customers via the phone
  • Experience in working as part of a busy team
  • Experience working in a Project Coordination role
