Derbyshire Council

With over 400 offices across the county, Derbyshire County Council’s 6,000+ staff are highly dependent on reliable communications to serve its 760,00 0+ residents. With the Council’s existing telephony platform reaching the end of its usable life, the Council issued a formal tender to suppliers to replace it with a more modern, integrated IP telephony platform. Maintel won the tender and in stalled the new platform in a two-phased approach in order to minimise disruption.
