Dan Davies
Chief Executive Officer
Dan joined Maintel in 2014 as part of the acquisition of Proximity Communications, where he was the Product and Solutions Director and board member.
With nearly 25 years of experience in the communications sector and an engineering, design consultancy, commercial and business background, he is driven by making sure our technology has a meaningful impact on our customers’ organisations, with business focussed outcomes that help them to achieve success.
Dan assumed the role of CEO in February 2025, having been Interim CEO of the Company since February 2024. Prior to becoming CEO, Dan served as the CTO from 2020 to 2024.
Gabriel Pirona
Chief Financial Officer
Gabriel Pirona trained at PwC and has over 25 years of financial experience, gained in both industry and public practice.
Prior to joining Maintel, he held the position of Group Chief Financial Officer at Agilisys, the fast-growing cloud and digital transformation specialists.
Prior to Agilisys, he was Group Chief Financial Officer at Selecta, and has also served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Photo-Me International plc, and as Regional Chief Financial Officer at Recall, gaining extensive and relevant strategic financial and business transformation experience.
Yogesh Patel
Chief Growth Officer
Yogesh joined the organisation in 2019 and has held a number of Senior commercial roles. He is responsible for leading the development and execution of Maintel’s overall growth strategy.
Yogesh has over 25 years of experience in high growth communications companies in a variety of roles across sales, commercial and operations. He is passionate about developing high performing teams that deliver frictionless customer outcomes.
Sarah Roberts
Chief Operating Officer
Sarah joined Maintel as COO in 2025, bringing extensive experience in telecoms, consulting and transformation. She has held senior roles at Vodafone, Motorola Solutions and Baringa, where she led large-scale change, delivered major technology programmes and advised executive teams and boards, in the UK and internationally.
She has served on the boards of Motorola Solutions UK and Airwave, supporting the UK’s emergency services communications. At Maintel, Sarah is focused on strengthening operations and supporting the shift to a specialist managed service provider.
She has a doctorate from the University of Oxford.
Will Smith
Chief Information Officer and CISO
Will has over 20 years’ experience in multi-national companies spanning industries such as distribution, software development,
logistics and managed services.
Since joining Maintel in 2021, his responsibilities include IT, Security and leading our Digital Transformation (DX) programme using technology as a pervasive sales enabler to drive growth and profitability.
Rachel Cox
Chief People Officer
Rachel joined Maintel in 2026, bringing a wealth of HR and leadership experience across a range of sectors. Rachel’s earlier career was spent in large global organisations where she led large-scale transformation programmes and held specialist roles in Talent and Reward. More recently, Rachel has led the People agenda in scaling technology-driven companies as a member of the Executive Team.
Rachel is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a member of the Strategic Advisory Board at Loughborough University Business School and a Trustee of British Youth Music Theatre.
